He had it clear

He was to do it

So he went into all of Galilee preaching in their synagogues and casting out demons. Mark 1:39 NET The event recorded in Mark 1:35-39 about Jesus’ ministry is a very interesting one. We’ve talked about it on previous posts. Guess while we remain on Earth we won’t be able to grasp all of the riches and lessons contained in Jesus acts and words. Yet, I hold to this glorious reality that one day, I’ll get to spend eternity in His presence and all that would matter is his voice. Jesus had it clear what his purpose on Earth was. He…

What His Purpose Was

Jesus replied, “Let us go somewhere else—to the nearby villages—so I can preach there also. That is why I have come.” Mark 1:38 NIV Jesus knew what his purpose on Earth was. If I am to wake up before dawn must probably it will take me between 45min to really be awake (that and at least two cups of coffee). Jesus was intentional on spending quality time with God. Lets be honest. We all struggle to find a place in which we may be alone with God. I’ve said that before. I…

Studying Jesus’ words and actions would indeed teach and transform us as we approach Scripture with a humble heart and an open spirit. In our pursue of having our life dramatically transformed by God, some of us have gone into Seminary. Getting formal training in as of how to approach Scripture is more than getting an academic degree that would make you be consider a master in Bible within christian circles. It is…
